The service

Permit Ready provides general guidance about the council and agency approvals that commonly apply to events in New South Wales, based on the answers you give. The free checker produces a summary; the paid report (currently $99 AUD, one-off) provides a more detailed PDF for the event you described.

Not legal advice

Nothing on this site or in a report is legal advice, and nothing replaces confirming requirements directly with your council and the relevant agencies. Approval requirements change, and councils can apply them differently case by case. Fees and lead times shown are indicative estimates, not quotes. You are responsible for obtaining the approvals your event actually needs.

Buying a report

• A report is a one-off purchase per event check — there are no subscriptions or renewals.
• After payment you receive a private download link. Keep it safe; it is how you access your report.
• Your report reflects the answers you gave at the time of purchase. If your event changes, the guidance may no longer fit.
• Reports are for your own use. Please don't redistribute or resell them.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site — no scraping at scale, no attempting to access other people's reports, and no using the guidance to misrepresent approvals to a council or agency.

Liability

We work hard to keep the guidance accurate and current, but we can't guarantee it covers every requirement for every event. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from relying on the site or a report. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
